Introducing Kanata Cabin: Where Simplicity Meets Elegance

Settled down in the forested hills of the Canadian Laurentians, Atelier L’Abri proudly presents the Kanata Cabin, a silver-clad sanctuary renowned for its greenness and grace.

Crafted to embody the essence of a pet-friendly retreat in Mont Tremblant, this compact haven, affectionately dubbed ‘La Niche’ by its owners, seamlessly integrates functionality with minimalist charm.

Spanning a modest 650ft², this single-bedroom cottage boasts a screened porch, an efficient living and kitchen space, and an inviting exterior hot tub. Its vernacular gable-shaped roof and distinctive arched doorway frame enchanting views of the Boreal Forest, while the cathedral ceiling and abundant natural light evoke a sense of grandeur. Adorned with silver-colored wood cladding, the cabin gracefully weathers over time, blending harmoniously with its leafy surroundings.

In homage to its pet-friendly ethos, the cabin’s playful interior details include an integrated arched nook in the kitchen island cabinetry, providing a cozy retreat for both visitors and their furry companions.

Constructed with sustainability in mind, the Kanata Cabin utilizes 2x8 studs and bio-sourced recycled cellulose fiber insulation, minimizing its carbon footprint. Built on a structural slab, this eco-conscious design further reduces costs and environmental impact, aligning with Atelier L’Abri’s commitment to sustainable practices.

With its optimized layout, architectural finesse, and close connection to nature, the Kanata Cabin offers a unique retreat experience. Situated within the Kanata Tremblant site, visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of Mont Tremblant, engage in outdoor adventures, and embrace local culture.
