MOLTENI&C Celebrates Frieze New York with Art Installation and Live Performance at Flagship Store on Madison Avenue

Molteni&C marks the occasion of Frieze New York 2024 with the unveiling of the ‘OnlyOne’ exhibit. Held at the Molteni&C New York Flagship Store on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, the event showcases artworks by artist Alex Turco, accompanied by a live art performance by the artist himself.

‘OnlyOne’ is a collection of unique art and design pieces, featuring sculptures, paintings, and furnishings inspired by nature. Each piece is meticulously crafted by hand using raw elements from the natural world, reinventing and reshaping livable art through rare techniques.

Utilizing epoxy resin—a signature medium for the past twelve years—the artists push the boundaries of creativity, incorporating various materials of different natures to breathe life into new forms of art.

After relocating to California, Alex Turco found profound inspiration in the state’s diverse natural landscapes—forests, deserts, mountains, and oceans. Collecting materials like burnt woods and fossil logs, he began experimenting with new forms of art, culminating in the ‘OnlyOne’ collection. Each piece is a testament to Turco’s commitment to creating one-of-a-kind artworks, curated with meticulous attention to detail and a deep sense of love.
