Brisa House: A Hidden Gem on the Brazilian Tropical Coast with Panoramic Views of the South Atlantic

São Paulo, Brazil, 2024-12-18 – Brisa House, designed by FCstudio, redefines the concept of home by blending design, sustainability, and innovation. Perched on a stunning site with expansive sea views, the vertical structure maximizes visual connections to the sea and surrounding nature, creating an immersive experience for its residents

Seamlessly Integrated with Nature

The design of Brisa House makes the most of its tropical coastal location, using large windows and strategically placed balconies to maximize sea views. Signature pieces such as the Equilíbrio and Libélula tables, crafted by FCstudio, embody the project’s commitment to craftsmanship. Natural stone and sun- and salt-resistant materials ensure durability, ease of maintenance, and timeless aesthetics. This seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces creates a unique, nature-connected living experience that promotes wellness and relaxation.

Innovative Lighting

One of the standout innovations in Brisa House is the 8-meter-long tensioned canvas light fixture, which changes appearance throughout the day, mimicking the colors of the sunset. This dynamic piece not only provides light but also serves as a centerpiece, adding depth and elegance to the space. In the gourmet area, the design combines function with style, featuring a sink, dry bar, wine coolers, and storage drawers, all designed for sophisticated entertaining.

Rosso Wall and Artistic Touches

The Rosso marble wall, designed by Brazilian artist Bechara, adds sophistication to the living space, with a sliding panel that reveals a TV for entertainment moments. The wall’s tactile beauty and the warmth of the fireplace make this area perfect for intimate conversations and relaxation

Rooftop Views of the Atlantic

The rooftop of Brisa House was designed with a focus on sea observation. The seating arrangement allows for a privileged view of the ocean, with one of the most unique features being a side table made from a genuine ship propeller, topped with a glass surface—a perfect fusion of art and design

Awapé Sculpture by Hugo França

Hugo França’s Awapé sculpture is placed thoughtfully in the garden, blending seamlessly with the lush forest surroundings. The sculpture’s organic shapes naturally integrate with the landscape, and its corten steel base complements the architecture, enhancing the connection between nature, art, and structure. The garden has been designed for reflection and visual harmony, inviting moments of pure contemplation

Unique and Sculptural Furniture Designs

• Equilíbrio Table: Designed by FCstudio, the Equilíbrio table is inspired by the graceful choreography of a ballerina, with a cantilevered metal structure that supports a 5-meter-long top. This design allows for social interaction with a sculptural lightness, using only a single support.

• Libélula Table: Another creation by FCstudio, the Libélula table is inspired by the wings of a dragonfly. The table’s light, airy legs allow an unobstructed view of the stunning landscape, while the amorphous marble top adds personality and natural beauty to the space.

• Onda Sideboard: Drawing inspiration from São Paulo’s Iporanga Beach, the Onda sideboard reflects the shape of the sea’s waves as they meet the shore. The curved Krion doors capture the natural flow of the coastline, blending organic symbolism with furniture design.

• Stonehenge Table: The Stonehenge Table, another piece designed by FCstudio, was inspired by the raw strength of Neolithic stones. Constructed from the same material in a timeless form, it embodies the essence of simplicity and durability, making use of leftover materials from the construction of the house.
